One Day I was sitting in a networking meeting and this gal began to talk about Title Insurance and her company. I was already working with a few title companies that I was satisfied with so I didn't give much thought to changing who I was using. What I came to find out was that this little title company was carrying an Ace in their pocket and was about to do what no other title company I knew of has done.
By the way, that gal I met, her name was Beverly Swimm. Beverly was and still is the relationship representative for Legacy Title and Abstract in Clifton Park, NY. Most representatives go door to door asking for all of your business and tout why their title company is the best and quickest etc. Though I do think those things are important to a good title company and I believe Legacy excels at all of those items, that is not was impressed me.
Beverly took an approach that I've never seen. She is the Networking Queen of the Capital District. Beverly offered more than just quick title turn around times and great title readers. She is able to connect businesses such as realtors, attorneys, mortgage loan officers, inspectors, and every other non real estate related business to each other so that everyone's business grows. Beverly has introduced me to more business contacts than anyone I know. I believe Beverly Pays It Forward.. Beverly mark my words...The Golden Rule is the Golden Rule for a reason. As my dad always said quoting Zig Zigler, "To get what you want out of life you just have to help enough other people get what they want out of life." It's true and Beverly is a prime example of someone who is living this day by day in the business community.
Beverly, thank you for being a team leader and relationship builder in the Capital District. All that you are doing is making a difference not only in my life, but in the lives of hundreds of other business owners. I'm looking forward to Legacy Title's continued growth and success because you are the Ace in the hole I referenced above.
