Transportation from Orlando International Airport to The Villages FL
Working with buyers in The Villages FL area, I am often asked about Transportation from Orlando International Airport to The Villages FL. From personal experience, I find Village Airport Van to be a terrific choice, and they are very reasonably priced.
I have recommended Village Airport Van to many clients who have asked about Transportation from Orlando International Airport to The Villages FL, but today I got a mailer (with a nice Magnet for my Refrigerator!), and I found out some additional information. On this mailer it mentions "Still ONLY $35 Per Person," which is the reason that I decided to stop making the 130 mile round trip (and pay tolls on top of that) every time someone comes to town. But the mailer also went on to say "Children, Active Duty Military, Pets, Luggage & Golf Bags FREE."
Wait a minute, did that say Children and Active Duty Military are FREE? I reached for my phone and called (352) 241-2000 to clarify this information. Here is what I was told: Children are considered to be tikes age 4 and below. They are free. Youngsters are age 5-13, and they cost $20 each. Once they hit 14, they are considered adults (most 10 year-olds these days consider themselves adults).
When I recommended Village Airport Van to a client this past week when he asked about transportation from Orlando International Airport to The Villages FL, I didn't know that I could have told him that he would be free because he is Active Duty Military. I guess that gives me another reason to give him a call this afternoon!
