Highland Cemetery Nature Trails Map - Ft. Mitchell, KY

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Advisors

Located on Dixie Highway in Ft. Mitchell, KY just across from the Kroger Plaza, Highland Cemetery is home to over 3 miles of nature trails. There are several trails range from .03 miles to around 1.12 miles. Trails are named after woodland creatures as follows: Bald Eagle (.29 mi), Black Squirrel (1.12 mi), Box Turtle (.45 mi), Fossil (.32 mi), Coyote (.31 mi), Oppossum Path (.03 mi), Screech Owl (.46 mi), and Tree Frog (.22 mi).

I am just getting started hiking the trails in the greater Cincinnati area. I feel like for a beginner, these trails are easy to handle. This is a great place to spend a few hours and take in the woods. I recommend blocking out at least a couple of hours so you have time to make your way around. It took about two hours for Black Squirrell, Oppossum Path, and Bald Eagle with a few short stops to take a deep breath. Enjoy the trails.
