21st Annual Furry Scurry - Denver, CO - May 3, 2014

Furry Scurry - Denver 2014

The Annual Furry Scurry will be held at Wash Park in Denver May 3rd, 2014. All monies raised (100%) will go for the care of over 25,000 pets that are brought to shelters to care for homeless pets. It costs $20,330 per day to care for these homeless pets. This will be a 2 mile walk around Wash Park, with refreshments before, during and after walk. This is Dumb Friends League's largest annual fundraiser and expect more than 12,000 people and 5,000 dogs to join in this fundraiser.

There will be 150 vendor booths to visit providing pet-friendly merchandise as well as services offers for pets. Participants will see the latest and greatest in pet toys and treats for their pets. For additional fun, there are fun contests for you and your pet to enter.

Pet/Person Look-Alike, Best Tail Wagger, Best Trick - and prizes to be won.

Registration: Register on line until May 2, 2014 5 pm

Day of event - 7 am

Walk commences 9 am

FEE: $50 per person

Children under 12 - $25

Location - Wash Park

I used to live near there, and I can't begin to describe a particular journey through Washington Park with a bunch of kids in the car with the top down, tripping out like crazy down the yellow brick road. I had forgotten all about that. LOL.
