ActiveRain Grasshopper.............Needs Help With Google+ Posting Problem

Help ActiveRain Realtor with Google+ Posting Problem

Just recently about March 16th, I started having problems posting my blogs onto my Google+ Page. Before I never had any issues and this was before the Trulia merge so it should not be the cause.

When I try to post my blog onto Google+ from AR, a message comes up and says "Your post was not shared. Please try again". This has been very frustrating so is there anyone out there in AR Land who can assist me to get this resolved. Even if I add the link directly to Google+, I get the same message.

Kristin - I was hoping that someone else got here before me with a solution. I am having the same problem. I have to go directly to Google+ and manually post them. I'll be checking back later to see if some one has an answer.

Hi Jim,

Even when I add the link, it loads just fine and the picture comes up in the box but then just gives me the message instead. Very frustrating.

Kristin, I've had this happen the other day as well, very frustrating. For some reason, my problem only lasted one day and now is back to normal. Sorry, I don't know what caused it nor do I have a fix.

Kristen after not being able to post my AR post on Google plus, I just found out a way to do it. I posted my post about first real estate deal on my 55 Community Guide google plus account. Here is how I did it. You can share it through a service I use called Buffer https://bufferapp.com/‎ I have a paid account but they offer a free account also. You can add to a business page but not your personal page.

No I have not Steve and it is frustrating. I still do it manually by first adding a photo and then putting a title and link at the top. I was just adding 4 posts to my Google+ accounts right now. Very sorry I do not have better news but at least it works manually.

Just found a fix for this, thanks to some ActiveRainers...go to the "short url" option at the top of your blog, copy it and paste it onto your Google plus account. Voila! It worked for me and some others, so hope it works for you guys as well!
