Warm, mouth wateringly delicious, slightly crunchy on the outside, scrumptious old fashioned doughnuts. Some are made with blueberries and are hand dipped in a maple flavored glaze. Some might be covered in a creamy chocolate coating. At certain times of the year, one might find pumpkin flavored doughnuts covered in cinnamon and sugar. They're always hot because they are made right there, in front of you.

Ellie's Old Fashioned Doughnuts are only available at the the Franklin TN Farmer's Market, behind The Factory at 230 Franklin, Road on Saturdays throughout the year beween 8 am and 1 pm. They make an occasional appearance at street fairs in the Franklin TN area.
While owner Danny Tassone has been operating his food truck since 2010, he says he has no plans to open a storefront doughnut shop. He may expand his business to an additional food truck to serve more Farmer's Markets in the Nashville area. What a treat that would be for those locations!
Ellie's Old Fashioned Doughnuts usually has the longest line at the Farmer's Market--which is always a good sign. His wood covered food truck is visible at the southern end of the Farmer's Market in Franklin TN. Check it out. What a delicious treat on a lazy Saturday morning!
