Why Do People Live here?
The Yacht Club is a "versatile" neighborhood rich with Cape Coral's history and fresh with the activity of downtown.
A village in itself, it's got something for just about everyone and offers some of the best in terms of access, both on and off the water. Boaters will enjoy short rides to open water, while land travelers won’t have to travel far in less than a mile you’re in downtown Cape Coral with all the shops, restaurants and entertainment. In two, you are over the bridge on College Parkway in Fort Myers.
Residents of all ages enjoy being out of the bustle while still having access to the heart of the city and all the activities in two of the city’s best waterfront parks.
What's the Neighborhood Like?
The homes you would expect to find for sale in the Yacht Club Neighborhood are generally going to range between 1000 and 2000 square feet. While some of the homes originally built by Gulf American Corporation back in the 60’s still remain, with most of the canals being sailboat access and the neighborhood home to Cape Coral’s public beach it’s been a favorite for those looking to build a new home in one of the best locations in the city. There are condos starting in the 40’s and single family homes (on dry lots) are in the low 100’s
