Roy,

Wow I am not sure what Texas does about this. As far as I know we only have to disclose if someone died of unnatural causes. Interesting!

Roy, thankfully, I haven't got that situation at Fishhawk Lake! An occasional hoarder (outside our community), or simply bad 70s decor, but that's about it!

We disclose in Tennessee. I can say that I am not aware of being in any meth house that I know of. I am not sure I would take the opportunity to show one.

It is relatively new here but taking the area by storm. I have been very lucky that i have not had any in mine but have seen it and smelled it in others REO listings. They are quick to come in, quick to leave and what they leave behind is a nightmare. If agents dont know they have been in one, they have not, because the smell is so putrid it takes your breathe away, blinds your eyes and will be a memory you will never forget. These properties should be immediately posted with warnings for others such as bpo agents, appraisers and or buyers.

Roy, if meth has been found in a property, that has to be disclosed.     I once showed a condo that had disclosed, and the EPA said every porous surface in the property would have to be removed and taken down the studs.    My buyer walked.

Thanks, again, for your feedback. Every agent needs to take great care when entering properties that have been vacant for extended periods.

Hi Roy, part of our property disclosure has a spot for a former meth lab being on the premises. What is this world coming to?
