The Lunar Eclipse Woke me Up Last Night
I wanted to set my alarm so I could get up to check out the Blood Moon last night, but I knew if I did, the skies would be completely cloudy, and I would not be a happy camper. So I let nature decide for me, and sure enough, I woke up just as the moon was "disappearing."
Not the least bit "professional," but then I had no intension of photographing the eclipse. I just grabbed the camera when I saw how cool it looked and hoped something would develop!
Good morning and thanks for sharing. We had good intentions to stay up and enjoy the Blood Moon. We ended up working till 11 then out of the blue Debbie got really sick. We laid down thinking we'd get up to watch guess we fell asleep and missed it. Being sky watchers missing out was a first for us.

Hi John - Certainly hope that Debbie is feeling much better this morning! It was a fascinating thing to see--I am not one who likes to stay up for these events, so I am happy that the lunar eclipse woke me up last night!

Well I set my alarm Chris and Mary-Kay ... Rain and clouds here in CT. No chance to see the spectacle. Thanks for sharting the pictures of what I missed

I forgot about the lunar eclipse and missed it. I'm a little miffed at myself. Another is coming in October, so all is not lost.

Hi Georgie, Yes, sometimes there just isn't time for all the things we enjoy--including Activerain. It is a good problem to have when it means business is booming, and that is the kind of summer we are having. This is supposed to be the "slow" time in real estate for The Villages, Florida, but it hasn't happened that way this year. Hope to be back in the Rain with consistency in the coming months!
