Most of us have been to the Fashion Center at Pentagon City, also known as Pentagon City Mall. Pentagon City Mall is of the few malls that is actually on a metro line in the Washington DC region. The mall was built in 1989 in Arlington, VA. In interesting news, the mall is planning an expansion.
The mall plans for new retail shops and restaurants; construction will begin soon on a 50,000 square-foot expansion to the property along Hayes Street, including an new entrance and lobby. The new construction will include two levels of new retail shops and restaurants with outdoor seating. The renovation is expected to be completed by 2015.
