The end of Spring Break typically marks the time where we parents turn our attention to planning the kids' summer camps and activities. Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club offers summer athletic camps for beginners and Olympic hopefuls alike from cycling and skateboarding to strength conditioning and summer skiing.

Steamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports offers summer recreational activities for all types of disabilities.

High Altitude Basketball Summer Camp establishes a strong foundation through coaching fundamentals.

Booktrails, a local nonprofit, offers reading and writing enrichment through outdoor exploration.

Longfeifei Youth Summer Academy at The Lowell Whiteman School in Steamboat. Curriculum and activities to challenge students' mind and body with natural curiosity while practicing critical thinking.

So grown ups, don't forget to take some time for yourself this summer to breath in the fresh mountain air, listen to the birds sing and relax under the starry night sky, because here in The 'Boat, we don't believe in rushing through our magnificent summers.
