Sounds easy Eric, but also very time consuming. Not sure I buy those figures on how much time was spent on working his "community".
Eric hit the nail on the head, communicating and keeping in touch on a regular basis is the key.
What most Agents lack is a method to do this that is econimical, easy to use and gest the job done in the end.
Thanks for the heads up Eric.
I stay on top of my data base and past client base religiously. But when I'm servicing clients, there's not always time to be talking to new people to that extent.
that is why kw rocks in providing the tools take on just this type of a task!
Hi John, Thanks for sharing your experience and letting me know you liked the post.
Rodger, I know what you mean, and even if you did only 1 in 20 it could still work out great. Time is the big issue. That is why I created a simple system to automate the whole process. I am building and installing it for free as a way to prove the type of results you can get. You should check it out. Thanks for commenting.
Bryan, Thanks for your comment. I agree I have posts here where i show agents how to do it themselves, but it is a little technical and most don't have the time. That is one reason I decided to go ahead and do it for them as a free introductory offer.
Nina, It's even easier for established agents like you because you don't have to talk to so many people. Most established agents have a large database already of people they met along the way. Not all turned into past clients. I set up a automated system for a Realtor in Las Vegas who was seasoned like you and she picked up 2 deals right off the bat. I am glad to hear you work your database with past clients. That in itself puts you ahead of the game since only 18% of Realtors reportedly do the same. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Mark, I am not very familiar with Kevin's stuff, but I came across his YouTube channel and he looks like an excellent trainer. Thanks for sharing!
Eric~ Thanks for sharing. My husband and I started our RE careers with Keller Williams and we have met Tony DiCello. We call our database our Sphere of Influence, but that doesn't sound very powerful. Not sure I like the Personal Circle name either, but I'm sure I can find the right name and that I can start adding names to it!
Hi Donna, I love Tony's story. 100 transactions for 7 years straight is no joke and it's not a fluke. It really illustrates the power of having a system to build relationships. Thanks for contributing to the conversation here.
I started listing the people who know me, then I opened my Christmas card list and kaboom- 112 names. Next step, call and send them another card. Thanks for the ideas!
I would say I prefer community instead of database or personal circle but I guess it's all semantics.
Eric,
It is true how our profession fails to follow up with clients and customers like we should. I believe we've all gained clients because they reached out to another agent and sadly, that agent failed to follow up with them. This happens more often than not. My goal is to be as proficient as possible in staying in contact and touching basis as soon as possible. Thanks for sharing.
Irma, Glad you liked it. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Jimmy, Good to see you taking action so quickly. I would love to hear how it turns out for you.
Hi Tammie, Very true. The important thing is to take action ![]()
Jaclyn, Your right. The good thing is a lax attitude toward follow up by other agents opens up more opportunity for you. Usually the obstacle is time. That is why it is important to automate the process as much as possible.
Thanks for sharing the video and your webinar link.
Have a most productive spring.
Hi Eric, The numbers don't lie and systems are necessary for success. Many agents still don't get it.
Hi Debbie! I guess that just makes it easier for those who do "get it"
Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked it Pete. Even happier to hear that you are going to take action on it. I would love to hear how it all turns out. Thanks for commenting.
Very powerful video, thank you for sharing it with all of us. Unfortunately not enough people will get to see this video and learn from it.
Thank you for commenting on my post.
Hi Joe, I thought so too. I know you are big on marketing to your DB. It's a real gold mine if it is handled properly. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts.
I've seen a lot of Mr. Ward on utube, he is the guy from YesMasters.com, right?
It is great that he is helping your agents. He is fun to learn.
Eric, great point you make. It really is about meeting people and keeping in touch with them on a regular basis.
