Last year it was held later but this year it is the weekend of May 10. Earlier and probably cooler. Last year it was HOT for the participants. Having volunteered last year and seen the course up close, better be ready for battle if you are participating! Here is the Spartan blog about returning to the valley with the friendliest people :)
