A tradition in our house is Easter Egg hunting on Easter morning before we head off to church. The Easter Bunny makes a visit and we spend some time looking for eggs. This year my grandson was visiting so it was especially fun!
As you can see some eggs were more difficult to find than others! Have a wonderful Easter!

We had a couple of hunts around yesterday but nothing this morning. The Grandson just found his basket
I love hiding Easter Eggs and I also love hunting them in my old age. Our tradition is to color Easter Eggs on Good Friday evening. The entire family is invited and so are my friends their children and my children's friends. It can turn into quite an affair.

Ed--My grandkids live pretty far away so this was a special treat this year.
Sussie--That sounds like such a good time!
Belinda--We did! That particular egg was tough for my 3 yr. old grandson to locate!
Alexandra--To you as well! That Kousa Dogwood will be covered with blossoms in about two weeks, so today it's a good "hiding place" for a 3 yr. old!
Tom- I love Easter egg hunts!!!! One Easter our youngsters in the family wanted to hide the eggs and have the adults hunt for them. It's not that easy!!! Hope you and Tammie enjoy your Easter.
Kathy--What's funny is when you end up with one or two eggs short and you have to look for them yourself! Where did that last one go??? You're right, it's not easy.
Tom~ We did an Easter egg hunt with 2 of our youngest grandkids a few weeks ago. It's so hard to coordinate everyone's schedules.
Donna--In some cases it's just impossible! We just treasure the times we do get together.
Tammie--I suppose this is a bad time to ask you to get me a beer! Yep!

Tom, I remember hiding eggs for my son. I'd have to map out where I put them and make sure we found all of the eggs. Towards the end we would play you are getting hotter ... or cold ... you are getting colder as he moved away from where the eggs were. Such great fun, and fond memories. A yellow egg on yellow flowers ... ghezzz ...
Our Easter Egg hunt was for a 5 year old and teenagers. Guess who got the most?
Kathleen--When my own kids were little I remember playing the hot and cold game. Great memories.
