Are Discovery Bay Home Price up in 2014?
Discovery Bay Homes are very popular. Discovery Bay has Golf Course Homes, Homes in Gated Communities, Homes with Deep Water Docks and more. This is a great community whose motto is “Live and Play in Discovery Bay.”
I do frequently reports on Discovery Bay Home Prices, but it is hard to get the picture of the over all trend from one month to the next.

I wanted to take a look at Homes in Discovery Bay from one year to the next to see the changes of over one year. The chart looks at the Active Homes for Sale in Discovery Bay; then Homes Sales in March of 2013 and March 2014.

Discovery Bay Median Home Prices were up about 20% from one year to the next and I suspect prices will continue up. The Median days on market is 25 and there is about a three month supply of homes; indicating it is still a sellers market. In general Discovery Bay are some of the higher end homes in East Contra Costa County so prices increases are not up as fast as in other parts of East County.
