About Evergreen
Evergreen is located about 15 miles west of Denver and is surrounded by thousands of acres of beautiful land. The town is surrounded by several Denver Mountain Parks as well as Jefferson County Open Space Parks. The Denver Mountain Parks in the area are Bergen Park, Corwina Park, Dedisse Park, Dillon Park, Fillius Park, O'Fallon Park and Pence Park in Indian Hills. The Jefferson County Open Space Parks are Alderfer/Three Sisters, Elk Meadow, Lair o' the Bear, and Mount Falcon Park in Indian Hill. There is also a country club, Hiwan Golf Club, and for fun adventures all year round, be sure to check out my personal favorite place--Evergreen Lake. It's a great place to enjoy the sun in the summer, and have fun ice skating in the winter. There is fun to be had for everyone here in Evergreen!
Downtown Evergreen is a wonderful mix of historic buildings, local businesses, and great restaurants. One of the most iconic, can't miss restaurants is the Little Bear Saloon--a local favorite. For the skiing and snowboarding aficionados, Echo Mountain Park is nearby.
Where Will The Kids Go To School?
Most of Evergreen is served by the Jefferson County School System. Most high school students live within the Evergreen High School jurisdiction. but parts of southern Evergreen fall into the area for Conifer High School. The border for Clear Creek County divides Evergreen, with residents west of the Clear Creek County line being served by Clear Creek Schools. Students here will be attending King-Murphy Elementary (ranked one of the best elementary schools in the state), Clear Creek Middle School, and Clear Creek High School. For those families seeking a private school education, there are several choices as well including Evergreen Academy, Montessori School of Evergreen, Grace Christian Schools, and Evergreen Country Day School.
What Kind Of Homes Will I Find?
Most of the homes available for sale in Evergreen are single family homes, although townhomes and some condos are also available.
