I am getting my backyard completed this week. I spotted a new hummingbird feeder and I'm going to hang it on a Sheppard's hook I saw this week. It has a bird on the top so I thought it would be so perfect. I love where I live as there is so many squirrels, cottontail's, birds everywhere and two bird nest in our eaves. I can tell you love nature too. Have fun planting your trees...good girl!

I use organic products too and have several recipes to make pesticides. I have boiled salt in hot water until it cools and put it in a water bottle and spray weeds. It takes about 5 days but they die off and usually don't come back. I like to wash my plants with shampoo and mouthwash in a sprayer. Smells good like a shower.

Composting is a wonderful and totally green thing to do. I wish I had room to do it myself. I miss all the worms at my other house. Hope I will get some here soon.

When I worked for the County, we had big events going and many would volunteer to plant the bedding plants. Now it seems like fewer events than before but the home improvement stores really cash in on the date.

I really wanted a Prius but they had a shortage here. Wish I had bought one as they are so cute. We must all do what we can do to be more green.

One of the earlier comments did comment they had a Prius. I was going to buy one but their was a lack of styles and colors when I bought my car 2 yrs ago so I just went with a smaller SUV instead. I try to recycle and make the world a better place anyway I can. Maybe my next car will be a Prius.
