Reasons Why We Post our Pending and Sold Listings on our Blog

I've noticed that we seem to be the only area real estate firm in Ashland and Bayfield Counties that routinely publishes our "Sale Pending" and "SOLD" properties.  A few clients have asked us why we do this.

We're proud of our recent solds and pending sales.  For a long time, i've held the opinion that competitors don't publish their successes when there's not much to publish.  In other words, the second home/vacation home market in northern Wisconsin isn't surging everywhere.  There are still pockets of lackluster sales volume and some companies aren't yet sharing in the broader nationwide real estate market upturn.

New buyer prospects want to know what to expect when they get serious about buying.  Pubishing sold data is the best way to keep customers and clients informed about where the current real estate market is at.

Potential sellers want to know who is doing the selling lately, which agents and which real estate companies are enjoying the most success.  They know that not all agents or companies are created equal and they are looking for statistics.  It's about who's hot and who's not.

Whether you are a buyer or seller, it's important to be able to determine your best course of future action.  If you're trying to sell a property, the odds are better if you work with an agent who's selling more properties (and at better prices) than their local competitors in the real estate business.  And If you're a buyer, working with someone who gets the job done more often than their competitors is also a logical choice.

You got to toot your own horn sometimes, plus buyers following your blogs and social media probably want to know what they closed for.  Buyers pay more attention to stuff than most people realize.
