are generally priced at the higher end of the housing scale. While we have a wide variety of homes and styles, the median sale price single family homes has been over $1 million for several years. For condos and townhouses, the average is $360,000.

One is that there are affordable homes (affordable here being under $500,000), and second, that the New Trier disrict includes small portions of Glenview and Northbrook, which are historically lower priced.
