The local newspaper, Zimmerman Today, announced that Saturday, May 10th and Saturday, July 12th and Saturday, September 13th as Zimmerman Community Garage Sale Days!

You can advertise your sale in this newspaper for just $12.00 per sale.  You will be added to a map of sales for each of the Community Garage Sale Days.

And, you can register easily now.  Send the information for your sale and the required funds to

If you need to declutter to sell your home, this is a great opportunity.  If you need to get rid of “stuff” to free up space, again this is a great opportunity to do this when you can participate on a specific date or dates when people will definitely be looking to Zimmerman for multiple sales! 

Zimmerman Today will publish a map, with your sale location and item listings, which will be printed in the Zimmerman Today Newspaper before the sale dates.

The deadline for submission to the paper is THREE weeks prior to the sale date.  Just $12 per sale!

Don, Community garage sales are great, it's a good way to get rid of unwanted/unsued items and a chance to get a good deal on some neighbors stuff.

I am pretty sure that there will be treasures to be found, especially for Ron, since he has such an eye for valuable items and things he can recycle into birdhouses and potting benches.  Even I might find something I can use....I do like Craigslist, too.

This is a neat idea, Don. What great advertising to have a map and a special day planned. This will really benefit the sellers and the garage sale buyers. Might be a good time to hold an open house, too. LOL.
