If you've been following my blog, or read either of my first two books -- then you'll know I don't like to sugar coat or white wash anything. While some people might call this being a bit "abrasive," I simply call it like it is.
Because if looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it must be a duck -- right? The same thing applies to marketing bozos and over-promising clowns.
I run two companies in addition to my Tony Robbins master consulting training. While I'm currently being groomed by my existing coach -- I'm already helping brokers bulldoze their businesses and retuning them.
So with me working 78+ hours a week -- I have little time to deal with marketing bozos that claim to know how to do SEO when all they really know how to do is fake it.
To the unsuspecting REALTOR, E-mails like the one I just received might sound good to you.
But when your check book has no more checks left to write, and your ranking is still boat-anchored somewhere on page 13 with nothing but excuses from the so-called SEO bozo you hired -- it has a profound effect. It quickly sharpens up your BS Detector for the next guy promising you the same thing.
The point of this blog is about one of the worst SEO FAILS I have ever seen in my life.
Just today, I get this SEO e-mail from a man calling himself Pradeep, an SEO Consultant.
- No phone #
- No website
- No credentials whatsoever
You don't need to activate the Internet "scratch n sniff," APP to smell the BS. It's reeks enough just when I read his e-mail the first time.
Despite having zero credentials, a website or a contact phone number, he claims to have done a search of Bing, Google and Yahoo and has come to the conclusion I need his help for SEO.
What Pradeep doesn't know is that the former Google AdSense Business manager at Google for 5+ years is my best friend and is my SEO Partner.
Another thing Pradeep doesn't know is that we have 2 Google AdWords account managers on my company payroll that managed AdWords campaigns for Google Australia (big) clients.
Below is a copy of his e-mail to me, followed by my reply.
If Pradeep does give me his reply, I'll be sure to included it in a follow up here on Active Rain.
BOTTOM LINE: It's still a jungle out there, people. Be careful and be very suspicious when you get crap advertising like this to your inbox.
FACT: Reputable SEO companies will never solicit you like this.
You will never get a single solicitation from the big SEO firms out there like: Bruce Clay, iProspect, Aaron Wall (SEO Book), or our firm. EVER.
