Obsessed with Points

By
Real Estate Agent with Tanya & Co./Keller Williams
Okay, I am new to Active Rain. I joined two days ago. I was glad to find the Newbie Group so I can learn everything. I am already addicted to getting points. I have always been competitive by nature in everything, my passion for real estate, soccer, Virginia Tech Hokie football, you name it. Now, I am obsessed with being #1 in points. How could this be? I am always heard about Active Rain and knew it was important but I thought it was more for the real estate community of 20 and 30 year olds not a 41 year old mother of two:) Perhaps I am a new breed of Active Rain groupie? I read a blog the other day about someone gettting "knocked up" on Active Rain and I got excited. Alright, I need to get back to prospecting and previewing.

HI Tanya - I am also a 41 year old mother of two obsessed with points.

We should start a support group.

Tanya, Welcome to Active Rain!  You'll get over the obsession with points after a while, but it is what keeps you coming back in the beginning.  Shortly you will find that there is Active Rain Life beyond the points.  It's the information and sharing experiences that will keep you addicted to AR.  Good Luck!

Welcome to the Rain and to the many "ADDICTS" of the Rain.  I've only been in the Rain for a little bit myself and I am also very competitive and truly obsessed with being number #1.  This is a good kind of addiction that I don't mind. You will enjoy the many friends you meet and the tips and suggestions that are out here for you to use.

Tanya,

To me the competition for being number one is just a great by-product of the information shared here in AR.

Tanya, welcome to the Rain.  Get your points the right way, and not like some who post nonsense just for the points.

Points are fun aren't they? I enjoy them as much as I do the blogging and reading. It's tough to be competitive.
