It has been quite a while since I last wrote anything, but certainly not for lack of interest. Lack of time. I have been busy. Here's the latest:
- The indomitable Jenn Maher and I have partnered up on a new commercial brokerage, J. Philip Commercial Group. The firm will be based in Mahopac, NY and will also serve as a branch office for my residential company.
- Jenn has also started the Putnam County Luxury Guild to promote the lifestyle in Putnam County, and none other than former NY First Lady Libby Pataki came to our first meeting.
- I have lost 35 pounds.
- The organization has grown to over 40 associates serving Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties. We will be announcing plans for a new branch office in southern Westchester County soon, and the office will start out with about 15 licensees.
- As of January, 2014 I have assumed the office of President of the Hudson Gateway MLS, which is no small time commitment, especially with a new MLS conversion from Rappattoni to matrix underway. I am also the chirman of the New York State Association of Realtors Tech Forum.
Oh, and my two oldest now have cell phones of their very own. They are excited, and the apple has not fallen far from the tree- within a few hours they were performing applications on their devices I didn't even know you could do. Did you know you could send a voice message via text?
