If you're looking to check out some fresh local artistic talent, be sure to head over to Gallery 1261. Starting this weekend, the gallery will be showcasing 4 local artists--Robin Cole Smith, Daniel Keys, Mikael Olson and Mia Bergeron. The themes of this exhibit revolve around spirituality, nature and the inner psyche. If you'd like to meet these talented artists, they will be in attendance for the opening reception tonight, Friday April 25th from 5pm-8pm.

If You're In Evergreen...

Mountain Area Home and Garden Show at Evergreen High School - Saturday April 26 and Sunday April 27 - 29300 Buffalo Park Rd, Evergreen, CO 80439 - 720.205.2640

If you live near the foothills and are planning to do some home renovations this spring, be sure not to miss this event that showcases local businesses!  One of the great things about the Mountain Area Home and Garden show is that the proceeds go to benefit local organizations. This year's beneficiaries are the Evergreen Rotary Foundation and the Conifer Rotary Foundation, and all the proceeds generated by this event will be redistributed into the local community in the form of grants. Whether you're looking for some help with flooring, plumbing, landscaping, home security or any number of things, you'll be able to find it here and help the community at the same time. It's a win-win!

I hope I helped provide you with some ideas for fun things to do this weekend in the Denver Metro Area. Now get out there and have a fantastic weekend!
