I came in early yesterday afternoon and the flight and crew were great.....and then I saw my bag. It was ripped, handle out, broken and non functioning. I went to the baggage complaint department but they said essentially, it was not their problem but gave me a number to call. After a four hour ride home, I took pictures and called the number I was given, and was advised that I needed to file a report online, which I did.
I was exhausted and had only hours to report the damage. It was raining in Paris yesterday and I watched the baggage guys toss and generally abuse the luggage. I flew in Business class so I thought I would be OK. I was wrong. All that said, I am not going to let this ruin my trip or what I have felt and learned. I will make this better, or not but soon I will have my three pups back and my life is good.
