May is Older Americans Month – Celebrate and Meet New People!
There is so much to learn from our “elders” yet. And, this is a great time to do that.
With Mother’s Day right around the corner, and Memorial Day, we know that people are thinking about families this month!
Come to celebrate the Older Americans Month with the Elk River, Monticello, and Coon Rapids Senior Centers. You can enjoy this event which is in its 23rd year (!) at RiverCity Extreme in Monticello.
Tickets are $13.00 and include a mouth-watering chicken dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, bun, and dessert. After lunch, you can find activities such as cribbage, bridge, 500, or bingo.
There WILL BE cash prizes for winners and plenty of door prizes, too.
Please register and pay in advance.

DATE AND TIME: Thursday, May 29, 2014 beginning at 11:AM Lunch will be served at 11:30
WHERE: RiverCity Extreme, 3875 School Blvd., Monticello
Cost: $13 per person and make checks payable to: City of Elk River
This will be a great event for young and old. Plan to make a day of it. You might learn something!
