Each year, our company participates in a day of dedicated community service, called RED Day – a day on which we Renew, Energize and Donate.
This year, we’re partnering with BookSpring, an organization that provides reading experiences, tools and books to children and their families so they can develop a desire to read and succeed in school and life. And there is an easy way for you, fellow readers, to help!
Research has long shown that reading is pivotal in early childhood development, and children who read (or are read to) have much higher probabilities of success in school and life. Margaret Fuller said it best when she wrote: "Today a reader, tomorrow a leader."
One of our goals is to provide content for BookSpring’s blog. If you want to participate, this is where we could use your help.
We’d like you to share one of your favorite books. Just browse the questions in the graphic above and answer one or more by emailing us here. You can write it for yourself or on behalf of a child in your life. Just tell us how reading has made a difference in your world.
Don’t think of this as a book report – a couple of paragraphs is plenty! Better yet, our bestselling writing team has assembled a crew of professional writers and editors to help your words shine! We promise to make you proud!
RED Day is May 8, so please share your thoughts by May 7, and get friends and family to participate!
