There is a new gathering place on 5th avenue in Indialantic, Florida that has locals and visitors alike packed in just about every night of the week! Copperhead Tavern, which used to be Andiamos’s restaurant, is the newly renovated and repurposed bar/tavern opened by beachside restaurateur Djon Pepaj.
The tavern consists of a main bar and seating area with an open/ indoor-outdoor concept. There are also some more intimate couch seating areas and a back outdoor seating area with a fire bit as the focal point. There is a good selection of beers on tap as well as some nice wine offerings. Tavern fare includes items such as the pulled pork irish stew, lamb burgers, oxtail poutine, tina sliders, hotdogs and everyone’s favorite tater tots- (spicier and more grown up than the version you might remember from school)! There is a vegetarian burger option now as well as a deliciously simple sashimi tuna salad.
The energy in the tavern is infectious and the crowd is lively and is certainly attracting a dynamic crowd all week long! Stop by for a drink after work; gather a group on the weekends or go for a burger and fries for dinner.. you will not be disappointed!
