I had my hair done today! You want to know why? There was the obvious reason, I've been needing to get it done for a week or more. But the reason I did it today was:
BLASTED INTERNET SERVICE AT OFFICE WASN'T WORKING AGAIN!
We had been having problems "unstable connection" etc occasional slowdowns, more frequent slowdowns, VERY FREQUENT SLOWDOWNS and so on, we have called and have ordered an new switch, but today things came to a standstill.
I'm a normally calmish seeming person but I yelled at our secretary "get the ____company on the phone and tell them to get off their dead ___es and fix this problem to at least function at the slow speed it was before. I'm tired of their half __ answers".
We were dead in the water, working from our smart phones, several agents went home to do their work.
I went to the salon. But before I left the internet company guy was at our office getting things going again and when I got back we could at least use our mls.
It's scary to think even for a minute about what would happen if no electricity for a day etc.
WWW means world wide web and it is - when it's not working it's all intertwined, and it all doesnt work.
It was good to deal with a local company that knew we'd be camping in their office if we didn't get some fast service.
