Friends of Celadon,

Did you know you can keep tabs on what's happening at Celadon by visiting the Progress Journal on our online Bulletin Board? Go To: http://www.celadonnewtown.com/#/gallery/ to view photos of the Celadon development site.

Our 1st commercial building is going up! This building will house The Crushed Grape, a local merchant offering fresh sandwiches, salads, specialty cheeses and spirits. Delivery, catering and bar-tending services will also be available.

Our LEED certified Parade Home puts the green in Celadon by using less energy, water and resources, and by creating less waste. Benefits to the homeowner include lower energy bills, reduced greenhouse gas and lower exposure to indoor toxins. This, plus an open, multi-functional space design and a side-yard patio lets you breathe free indoors and out. Mark your calendars and plan to stop by during the Spring Parade of Homes May 21- 31, 2008. Or stop by the sales center today for a tour.

Those who have reservations down on the Town Loft condos received an email outlining next steps. The first Town Loft building is underway and will be ready for occupancy this Summer. You can add your name to the priority list with a $1,000 refundable deposit.

Last week, local artist, Cameron VanDyke, installed an original sculpture at the entrance to Celadon. Cameron graduated from the furniture design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology and has been working in Grand Rapids for over 12 years. He has shown his unique furniture designs in galleries around the country and has completed several public art commissions.

The title of the Celadon piece is "Habitat." The title refers to the network of interdependent elements in a community and the way that those elements hold themselves together. It is a metaphor for the way a community grows and the way the natural world builds and supports itself.

Only three months into construction and Celadon is already taking shape in some amazing ways. Call, email or visit us for more information.
