A practical tip for Pinterest group invitations

 

One of the nice features of Pinterest is that you are allowed to share your individual Pinterest boards with other pinners. I had a learning experience this week that I will share with you. Don’t worry, this is not rocket science.

I share several Pinterest Boards with Florida real estate professional Toni Weidman and we have compared notes as we gain more knowledge about the use of Pinterest. All of a sudden, Toni’s name was not an available option for inviting her to share additional boards. We were puzzled but ultimately found an easy solution.

When you are sending invitations to others to join your group boards on Pinterest, use their email address rather than their name if the name does not appear in the search field.  Pinterest pros may think this solution is too silly to be published but Toni and I were happy to discover this solution.

Thanks for the tips Roy.  I've been so busy taking pictures this week that I haven't blogged much.   I'm planning to start utilizing your Pinterest tips even more.  I'm also planning a blog post summarizing what I've been learning.  It seems like I should use the tips before I start writing too much about them.
