One Million Home Thermastats Being Recalled

More than one million thermastats sold in the United States being recalled by White-Rogers. 

These heating and cooling home programmable thermastats are being recalled because the batteries can leak on to the circuit boards and pose a fire hazard.

The thermostats are made by White-Rogers but some have different brand names. Maytag, Nutone, Rheem, Partners Choice, Ruud, Comfort Sentry, Dico, Emerson, Frigidaire, Unico, Water Furnace, Westinghouse and Zone First.

If you have one of these, check thermostats for battery icon on the left side of the blue lighted screen, if the battery icon is not shown, contact White-Rogers to receive a free repair or a replacement thermostat.
