Eliminate Household Toxins

Beware!  Your house can be harboring invisible toxins, making your family sick.  Some pollutants are extremely potent and can cause long-term illness and even death.

Lead, asbestos, radon, carbon monoxide, mold, and mildew are unhealthy pollutants.

Your recurring “cold” or “flu” , including symptoms such as nausea, headaches, irritated eyes and throat, or runny nose, may be signs of toxins in your home.

If you think your home may be poisoning your family, have your house professionally tested to determine the “health” of your home.

Look in the yellow pages under:

  • Asbestos Abatement & Removal
  • Asbestos Consulting & Testing
  • Lead Testing & Consulting
  • Mold Remediation
  • Mold Testing & Consulting
  • Radon Detection and Removal

To check for gas leaks (carbon monoxide), call The Gas Co. Detectors can be purchased at the hardware store.  They plug in to an electric outlet, and sound an alarm if dangerous levels are encountered.

Regina, thanks for the tip! I've also read that even wearing your shoes inside the house can bring in airborne toxins. Yikes!

Suzanne, yes that's true.  Thank you for dropping by and sharing your thoughts.

Debbie, we need to be aware of these toxins so we can live in healthy environments.  Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment.
