Ridgmar is a beautiful mature neighborhood of custom built single family homes that is conveniently located just 10 minutes West of Downtown Fort Worth. It's not uncommon to see neighborhood kids playing in the park or people out walking their dogs along the wide tree lined streets of this quaint little oasis in West Fort Worth. What's the Neighborhood Like?
The homes you would expect to find for sale in the Ridgmar Neighborhood are generally going to range between 1800 and 2700 square feet on the West side of Ridgmar Street and on the east side the homes are bigger mostly 2500 to 3800 square feet. Most of the homes were originally built by custom builders back in the early 1970's. The last set of homes in this subdivision were built in mid 1980's. Since then, many of the homes have had updates and it's not uncommon to find homes that have extensive remodeling to 2014 standards adding modern energy efficiencies and amenities these great homes but in almost new condition. The smallest homes in the neighborhood start with 3 bedrooms while the larger floor plans have a four or 5 bedroom layout with some models putting the master bedroom on the main floor.
