Sunday, a time for family and nature in Southern Colorado
Living in Colorado for us is a dream come true. We are grateful every day to be here. We live on a 37 acre "ranch" outside of Salida in the Down Valley. We love our life and our work. We work hard for our clients Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, however, we spend time with family. This prevents us from burning out... which squelches our passion. Without passion, we lose our creative edge and our exhuberance for what we do. In a nutshell... Sundays keep us whole.
Three of my favorite Sunday activities are hiking, hanging out with family and spending time with my horses.
We live in a hiking mecca. From rugged rocks and cliffs, to rivers to lush meadows and aspens, we have it all in spades. Sometimes, we hike just for fun. Other times, we wander around a parcel of land that we have listed, getting to know it and enjoying it at the same time. Still other times. we stop off on our way to a conference and hike. All are wonderful. Join us on some of our favorite hikes!
Nothing is more important than family for us. When we can spend time with family it makes it a special day. Most of our family loves the outdoors so we can combine both loves. I have decidated this video to our family... lots of love and laughter.
Horses are part of my life and have been for a long time. I wake up with them right out the front door looking up expectantly for treats, scratches and breakfast. Rio and Tucker are my two boys. This video is dedicated to horses and friends/family with horses.
What is your special day? How do you spend it? Who do you spend it with? I would love to know.

All of the photos were amazing, and the big cat was obvious (wasn't sure if I wanted to call it a mountain lion or cougar, are there cougars in Colorado?) And I loved the last photo with you stretched out and relaxed after the hike. Have a wonderful week!
