HGTV 2014 Smart Home comes to Nashville TN
Carbine and Associates recently finished building the 2014 HGTV Smart Home. Designed by Architect Preston Shea, it was built in the Green Hills area called Duncanwood Reserve.
The 2500 square foot Smart Home combines high tech and tradition in a lovely English cottage design.
Every year HGTV, a Knoxville based cable TV network, gives away a home in a different city in the U.S. "Nashville feels like the next 'best place' to be" said HGTV's Jack Thomasson, who is in charge of finding the the sites for each home.
The 2014 HGTV Smart Home, and it's furnishings, will be given away on June 9th along with a luxury hybrid car and $100,000 cash from Quicken Loans. The total prize is valued over $1 million.
