Hi Bette,

I would highly reccomend Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead and they are just 25 miles apart. Many live there year round and others have 2nd homes.

Hi David,

You hit it right on the head as many have homes to go during the holidays and just a summer get-away. They have spectacular 4th of July events too as they do them from the lakes to protect the mountains from fires.
