/image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/0106201c02353a4ebafc695a1d4ba29923e1438bd8.jpgI love my car. It is my favorite car out off all the cars I have had, and that is including my dream car. I had wanted a Red Cadillac CTS for years and got one about four years ago. I was really happy with it at first, but after a while I was over it.  The car I had before the Cadillac was a Toyota Prius and I loved it. When the warranty was over however, my husband wanted me to get rid of it because the replacement parts were really expensive. The two things I missed the most when when switching from the Prius to the Cadillac were the back up camera and the key less entry. Those were must haves for my new car. My dream car was not what i thought it would be.

I do a lot of research when making a major purchase and researched the C-Max for months before making the purchase. I knew exactly what I wanted and waited to get it in the right color with all the options I wanted, for a price I was willing to pay. I am glad I did. I love my car, especially all the technology.

I love the way the interior of my car looks. The small button to the left is how you/image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/01a31dbbd33de92e0001d91b26fcc60f1a8816cff6.jpg start the car. You just have have to ave the key fob on your person, put your foot on the brake and push the button to start it.

The touch screen in the center console is amazing, it has so many functions. You can connect to your itunes or iTunes radio/image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/01eb6efad5217fc6e603d75baa2500c766a719812e.jpg through Bluetooth or you can connect through a USB cable.

You can make phone calls, add a destination, search for a business, or tune to a rado station, with voice commands.  You can also have your text messages read to you.  /image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/01bf878151fe84c189b5f90674f8f662e75773e4d4.jpgThe back up camera is awesome, not only can you see what's behind you, but it assists you in which direction to go, and beeps if you are close to something.   /image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/01c581d112b0ea000b1816db6cedc3acf1073a7e24.jpg

The gas mileage is great, and you get feedback to improve your efficiency.
Braking helps to charge the battery and you get graded on how well you brake.  When the arrow is facing down on the little battery, you are running on full battery.  The car has satellite and remembers the route you take home and when you are about a half a mile from home, it automatically switches to EV+ plus which is full battery powered.

The GPS updates easily and has day and night modes.

/image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/01eb20c3e0efd2ede317fe3818d099157a7fdf38be.jpg  You can easily search for the best priced gas, and get directions to get there. Or you can find movies:

I can also set destinations on my iPad or iPhone on my myfordtouch app and then connect to sync when I am in the car and use voice commands to pull up the destinations easily.  I can also get traffic alerts when using my navigation and get an alternate route to help avoid traffic.

The interior is really roomy, the seats can be heated, which I actually used over the winter and it was really nice to have warm leather on some of th/image_store/uploads/agents/cathywolters/files/016309adee6cd10cd9f76beb76f1e31a6ed323cd0b.jpge cold days we had.

You can run a vehicle health report and it is emailed to you.

I love this car and all the technology that comes with it.

Cathy, Very nice! How long did it take you to learn all the cool tech things? I debated about going with a hybrid when I bought my current car and now regret that I did not...bet you just smile and wave as you pass the gas stations!

Diana, yes I do. My husband used my car to go to Tennessee and I had his truck for a week. Whist a bummer having to put so much gas in it. Thanks Catherine

I know what what you mean about getting rid of the Prius as the 5 yr mark for the $5000 replacement battery is costly. I am glad you like your new car My husband just got rid of his 1 yr old Jeep Cherokee 4 Wheel Drive with Skid Plates and all the bells and whistles. He got about 15mph max and just sold it and bought a Honda CRV and he loves it and gets great mileage. I am contemplating a new car since mine is almost 4 yrs old and warranty goes out in 7,000 miles. I will take a look at your Ford. Thanks for the tip.

*I have a question for you...Are you where the White Squirrel is?

Kristin, yeah my husband flipped out when we had to pay $150 for a headlight replacement bulb. That's with him installing it!

No, I believe the white squirrells are in Brevard in NC.
