Lace up your exercise shoes and meet us at the Millenium Park Plaza in Lake Oswego's Evergreen neighborhood for the annual Lake Run. This Saturday, May 10th join the fun and participate in one of three foot races in Lake Oswego this weekend! The registration tent OPENS at 7:00AM this Saturday.
The KIDS DASH starts in the morning at 10:30AM at big balloon arch so look for this high above Millenium Park located at the South end of 1st Street in Lake Oswego. The kids dash route is West on Evergreen Road and back to Millenium Park after circling the turnaround point six blocks down the road so figure about one dozen blocks total. Kids run for $15 and includes the transaction fee.
The 5K RUN starts at 8:15AM at Sundeleaf Plaza. There is a $30 entrance fee for runners and will be $35 on the date of race to process the paperwork. Participants will run past Lakewood Bay and out along Iron Mountain Boulevard and turn around to head back through Lake Oswego and finish the race at Millenium Park Plaza.
READY SET GO...for the folks who trained for longer distance running can do the 10K RUN which starts earlier at 8AM at Sundaleaf Plaza. Runners will participate in racing all the way around Lakewood Bay and Oswego Lake. Runners and walkers finish the course at Millenium Park Plaza.
Stick around for the FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL at Millenium Plaza Park after the running events and check out face painting, food and beverage vendors and the free giant slide are all OPEN from 8:00 to 1:00PM.
