Zillow Zestimates V.S. Realtors CMA.
As a Realtor we hear sellers say that they went online and found out from Zillow Zestimates, What their house is worth. Did you know that Zillow has a formula on how they come up with these zestimates and the methodology in being able to come up with a value on one's home? Personally, for the average person one would look at this formula and go What?? I don't understand. Well it's simple don't rely on a computer first and foremost to determine your home's value. This is when a professional Real Estate agent comes into play.
As a Realtor, I still believe that there is nothing more valuable then a Realtor touring your home and you sharing with that Realtor all the benefits and features of what your home has to offer. Along with what you have done to your house since you've purchased it. There is real value in that face to face meeting or consultation. A home owner who is seriously considering selling their home should contact a Real estate professional and not rely on a Zestimate to tell you the true value for your home and what it could possibly sell for.
