It really amazes me to see price drops on homes that have so much potential. Keeping in mind our current market I just don't get it. I see listing after listing with reduced prices. Unfortunately most of these listings have really undesirable photos. Even more unfortunate these photos are the best parts of the home. I just wish I could wave a magic wand for everyone to realize that a home is and always should be considered and investment. Not something that you "get out of" and place blame on a bad market. Who recommends these price drops? My last unfortunate would be the Realtor. I know this because I have friends that are Realtors and some of which don't use staging and just recommend price drops. This is the fall out of the "right place at the right time Realtors" who came into the market when it was booming and don't know the tried and true techniques that veteran Realtors have spent years to perfect.
So here it goes, the magic wand has been waved. So, call a "Professional Home Stager" before you recommend a price drop! It may turn a current home seller into a future home buyer. This benefits us all.
