Today a buyer that I have been working with for a while call me to make plans to come to the lake this weekend to take a second look at some homes they saw just two weekends ago. They asked me about the first one they wanted to see and I checked... pending... second one.... nope it's pending too and I didn't have to look because another agent in my office sold it. And they are now through all the inspections and have loan approval, so they're good to go for closing.
My buyers are still going to come to the lake this weekend, but only to look at a couple of new homes that have just come on the market this week. This seems to happen in our market this time of the year. Tomorrow I hope to have time to do my April Lake Sinclair market report. I had planned to do it today, but yesterday I got a call from a past client who is ready to move again.
Today my day was full with showing property, writing an offer and getting her current house on the market. Then I pulled a little overtime to take fliers for a broker's open on Wednesday over and meet wtih sellers to talk about a phone call I had from a buyer's agent about their home and an offer we had a while ago that never had a meeting of the minds.
Tomorrow promises to be another busy day in my office. It's going to start with me at the bank in the morning to make a deposit from today's closing that another agent had to cover for the agent because of another appointment. I have a saying for how much we work this time of year... "we meet ourselves in the door" because by the time we leave work it's time to get back to work.
Isn't it great? I think it is!
