Take some time off.
Check to see what is hiding in your house.
In my case, I found this 32 year old Lion. (No wonder he looks sad.) It was made by a Searcy artist, Robert Van Patten, for the 1957 Searcy High School class reunion being held in 1982. He made 57 of them and this one is #27. That is called a limited edition art work. Hubby was one of the folks at the reunion and after returning from the party the lion was dropped in a drawer. It has now resurfaced and is more appreciated.
Bobby Van Patten has passed on. So has his wonderful mother and father.
Hopefully, sharing this lion will bring back lots of good memories for the folks who were in the 1957 graduating class. It brings back good memories for me even though I am a transplant and I'm going to give this lion a better location in our house.
