Does Your Realtor Have a GRI Designation? And, What Does That Mean?

I have my GRI too! :)  I too think it's a wise designation.  You can never have too much education! Thank you Don and congrats on meeting your goals!

I have gotten into the designations   but I have never been asked about one

I think it's only other agents who respect the designations - the general public has no idea what they mean.

It's a good designation to have in the tool kit. Good description of why buyers should be impressed when they see it associated with a Real Estate pro. 

Hi Don -- while I think it's great you have the GRI designation, I don' t know if the public is aware.  

I got GRI as soon as I got my license.

Yet, I don't think any of my clients ever asked me what those letters after my name mean. Now I want to get an international designation.

How does the GRI commit professionals to "serving clients in the highest ethical manner"? Is there a special ethics panel/ watchdog group?

Of the designations, the GRI does seem to command the most respect.
