Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas coming to Jupiter

Things in Jupiter continue to change. For the better, maybe. But then again, maybe not. But the excitement coming to the corner of US1 and Indiantown Road continues to grow with the grand opening of Harbourside Place getting closer and closer. And right across the street a new type of movie theater experience will be opening by the end of the year.



A Mexico based company is bringing their brand of luxury theaters to the site where the former Paragon Cinemas operated until they closed the doors 20 days ago. In its place Cinepolis will bring the same luxury theater experience they have already opened in swank California markets like Del Mar, La Costa, Laguna Niguel, Ranch Santa Margarita and Westlake Village. Like it or not our little seaside village of Jupiter is changing. For the better, maybe. But then again, maybe not. 

Cinepolis is the 4th largest movie chain in the world with a huge presence in both Brazil and India. San Francisco will be opening soon and then add to the list in the United States; Jupiter, Florida. For those of you who are so upset with Harborside Place this certainly isn't great news. When the world's largest chains add us as #6 on their list of US locations for their "luxury brands" things are indeed changing here in Jupiter. For the better? We'll let you decide.

For those of you craving restaurant service in humongous fully reclining leather seating and movie tickets in the $20 range you are "in like Flynn". Or will be come Thanksgiving when the new digs open. And if you want a martini the full service bar will be happy to serve you one, or two, or three.
