Bucks County has five State Parks according to information in Wikipedia.
1. Delaware Canal State Park is 830 acre park in Bucks and Northampton Counties and is among the 20 must see State parks chosen by Pa Bureau of State parks.
2.Neshaminy State Park is 330 acre park in Bensalem
3.Nockamixon State Park is located along boundaries of Haycock and Bedminster townships. It is popular because of the beautiful artificial lake and has boat rentals and fishing.There is a large swimming pool at the park.
4.Ralph Stover Park is a 45 acre park in Plumstead and Tinicum townships.It is popular for white water kayaking.
5.Tyler state Park is 1711 acre park in Newtown and Northampton townships and it's main attraction is Schofield Ford Covered Bridge.
Having lived in Bucks County for 30 years I am familiar with the lovely parks and enjoy picnics in the parks in summer.
The parks have a lot to offer.
