You're Always Welcome At The Burns Court Cafe In Historic Burns Square. Believe it or not, Sarasota has its own version of a Parisian Cafe and Bakery right in the heart of the Historic Burns Square neighborhood just south of downtown.
Open for a few years now, the Burns Court Cafe is the creation of owner and general manager, Arieh Aizenberg. Here you can enjoy al fresco dining or the cozy atmosphere of the cafe itself while you dine on a variety of homemade quiches, sandwiches, pastries or desserts. Enjoy a robust cup of coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes and frappes, choose from a selection of teas, or savor a glass of wine or one of many other beverage choices. Bring your laptop and enjoy free wi-fi!
While you relax you can also enjoy the artwork of a local Sarasota artist while soothing jazz permeates the background. Currently on display are the works of local artist, Lucy Barber. Every two weeks you can relax to the sound of live jazz on Friday evenings.
The Burns Court Cafe is open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Saturday. Live jazz every other Friday begins at 7:00pm on the one night the Burns Court Cafe stays open late.
Come once and you will be convinced. You're always welcome at the Burns Court Cafe in Historic Burns Square!
