Brentwood Concert Series 2014
The Brentwood Concert Series 2014 was recently announced via postcard to area residents. The concerts are held at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater at Crockett Park and admission is free. All shows start at 7:00 pm on Sundays beginning in June with the exception of the July 4th show due to July 4th falling on a Friday.
June 1--Boomerang
June 8--Nashville Symphony Orchestra
June 15--The WannaBeatles
June 22--The South Street Players
June 29--Bad Dog Band
July 4--The Kadillacs & Fireworks
July 13--The Entice Band
The concerts begin at 7:00 but you should plan to arrive by 6:00 at the latest to snag your spot. Bring blankets or chairs, a picnic dinner, and friends. Dogs are allowed in the park but not in the amphitheater area during performances. The concerts are enjoyed by young and old alike. There are softball and baseball diamonds on either side of the amphitheater and a large playground facing it. Don't forget to stay for the fireworks after the concert on July 4. And best of all...THEY ARE FREE!
The park is located at 1500 Volunteer Parkway. It consists of over 164 acres and is Brentwood's largest park. There are hundreds of parking spots but on a really busy day you'll be lucky to find one! Several neighborhoods have walking trails that lead to Crockett Park. The best mode of transportation is by bike or foot along one of these trails. Neighborhoods in walking distance of the park include Indian Point, Concord Hunt, Brentwood Glen, Brenthaven, and Somerset.The only entrance to the park is via Crockett Road at the light between Holy Family Catholic Church and Crockett Elementary School. The park is open from 8:00 am til 10:00 pm.
