Willow Lakes Spring Golf Leagues - Sign-ups for the Senior and Willow Lakes Leagues will be ongoing throughout March. The Senior League will run April 8 - October 14, and the Willow Lakes League will run April 7 - August 18. For more information, contact 292-1680.

  

Intramural Team Bass Fishing Tournament 2008 - all summer long at Outdoor Recreation. All launch times will be at safe light determined by the tournament director. Entry fee is $20 for the entire season. Captain's meeting will be March 28, 11 a.m. at the Rod and Gun Club. For more info please call 294-2167.

  

Nebraska Hunter Education Class (firearm) at the Offutt Rod and Gun Club, March 29 & 30, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be a scheduled one-hour lunch break both days. Party like a Rock Star at the Community Center SAMs Lounge, March 29, 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. with 1 Eyed Jacks DJ from 89.7 the River; cover charge $3. A Guitar Hero Tournament will start at 9:30 p.m., $2 entry fee, with the winner receiving $50. Disco theme, 70's vintage dress encouraged. Open to all DoD cardholders 18 and older. April Fools Birthday Bash at the King Dining Facility on April 1, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., celebrating January - March 2008 birthdays. Choose from a variety of entrees and side dishes! Games and prizes will be given out throughout the meal. Contact your First Sergeant to sign up.

 

Amazing Race at the Offutt Field House, April 12, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Open to the first 30 2-person teams to sign up - must be 16 or older, and have at least one adult in each team. Sign up at the Field House front desk before April 4. For more information, contact 294-5413.

 

Waubonsie State Park Hike - Join Outdoor Recreation for a leisurely walk or a challenging hike over the 7 miles of trails in Waubonsie State Park, April 12. We will be leaving the Base Lake at 8 a.m. and returning at 2 p.m. Fee is $5 per person; lunch and drinks are not supplied. Registration and payment are due NLT April 5. Archery Summer League 2008 - Outdoor Recreation is sponsoring a summer intramural archery league. Captain's meeting will be April 29, 11 a.m. at the Rod and Gun Club.  Entry fee is $10 for the season. League will start May 5th and end July 14th. For more info please call 294-3344/2167.

 

Golf Instruction is now available at the Offutt Field House's 2 indoor driving ranges, for the low price of $15 per 30-minute lesson. Lessons can be scheduled during the day, at night, or on weekends. Contact the Field House at 294-5413 to sign up.
