I once worked for a buyer that took a very blasé attitude towards the fundamentals of buying a home.
This buyer never spent countless hours researching neighborhoods, economics or compared features side by side.
This buyer did not look at house after house and meticulously dissect each facet of the purchase worthiness of a property.
As a matter of fact, the last house he purchased he bought sight unseen, without so much as a photograph! He lived there for fifteen years until he purchased his current home.
At least this time he spent ten minutes inside the house before making his offer. He did not notice that there were no light fixtures or garage door openers, and these items would have to be installed after closing.
That was twelve years ago and I am happy to say that this cavalier buyer is still quite satisfied with his purchase.
Some people never agonize over a purchase. There are those out there that subscribe to the tenet of “less is better!”
The worst real estate buyer ever?
Yeah, it’s me!
